The position is with Toowoomba Bearings & Hydraulics - the only local bearings supply company that also specialises in hydraulics, stocking over 40,000 products for retail and trade customers, and providing full workshop facilities for hydraulic repairs, maintenance and field service.

 

We are renowned for providing high Quality Hydraulic and Industrial hose, fittings & components to the Mining, Agriculture, Construction, Earthmoving and Industrial markets.

The Role

​

Due to continued growth, we now have a new opportunity for a self-starter with a mechanical background to service and grow our existing Hydraulics Division throughout the Toowoomba and Darling Downs regions.

 

​The main duties of this position will be working with hydraulic components, cylinders, pumps, hydraulic motors, and performing a range of service work including breakdowns, repairs and overhauls.  You will also be troubleshooting and fault diagnosing hydraulic components.

​

You will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to our customers.

 

You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication.

 

The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers.

​

You will be based at our Workshop facility for ‘in-house’ repairs, and provided a fully equipped and stocked Service Vehicle for Field Service and breakdowns.

​

Strong communication skills, clean licence and excellent coordination skills are a prerequisite for this position.

​

Skills & Experience

​

• Hands on experience in the hydraulics industry

• Strong experience in the repair of cylinders, control valves, gear pumps and motors

• Fitter Trade background highly desirable

• Ability to work unsupervised
